I believe in equality, and think we should push for no one to be beyond help. Also, nature should have some rights, since it does so much for us and gets nothing in return, except less of itself. There are a lot of things we could do with nature without hurting it that we refrain from doing for reasons I can not seem to understand. For example, if we model buildings off of plants, we could create stronger architectural structures, or we could use plants and fungi in water treatment plants. Fungi are able to pull heavy metals, bacteria, and viruses out of soil, so if enough people learned to use less water, gather water without contaminating it, and more efficient ways to dispose of waste, we would no longer even need water treatment plants.
