Hundreds of Freerice players have submitted suggestions and ideas on how to improve the game through the feedback forum, accessed through the orange feedback tab, located to the left of this blog post.

Freerice has managed to raise enough rice to feed 4.3 million people, entirely through word-of-mouth advertising. And so, the community's experience and its needs are truly central to the game. For this reason, each suggestion is reviewed and based on the number of votes will be considered for future developments.

You can also join the conversation on our official Facebook and Twitter profiles.

I like MMA's idea a lot! I'm a film minor in college and I think it'd be great to get some film trivia from this! It'd help me remember the films that I've seen to a greater extent, or learn more about the actors that star in them! Pop culture questions in general sound really fun to me!

i would love FreeRice even more if you added the subject : Music. it would be soooo awsome to see different types of questions for different bands, artists, and groups. maybe form the 70's to the 90's.

My account is doing something funky since the switch to November and already has the end of the month filled out with how many grains I have earned. It must be the October totals with November dates. Please check and correct. I really liked seeing my ranking among other players for a given day and now I feel like it is all messed up.
Thanks.

Wed, 11/10/2010 - 17:58 ramseydl

can i just go out and buy a bag of rice

Wed, 11/10/2010 - 04:33 Vaddy

I think that it's really cool that you can donate rice through answering questions.
I agree with the person who wanted biblical greek and hebrew, and the person who wanted poetry, and the person who wanted to know where our rice went to.
I suggest that you should include Japanese, Mandarin, Calculus, Geometry,Composers, and Biology.
Keep up the great work!

Tue, 11/09/2010 - 22:36 fardin

i love this site because it gives all of us a chance to be involved in helping the poor. i have joined the muslims fighting for world hunger group and want us to be no. 1 in groups leaderboard. we are currently in 11th place.

i will also be doing school whenever i have ict.

Tue, 11/09/2010 - 19:39 Aiden Syzlack

I would like to see more subjects under math. Maybe some algebra, not just mental math.

Tue, 11/09/2010 - 12:32 captcrouton

Add Russian language questions. I'm supposed to be studying it right now, and it would be a good excuse to play the game. :O)

Tue, 11/09/2010 - 10:51 jamesinclair

Geography should include tiny island countries as the hardest level.

Tue, 11/09/2010 - 03:28 Rachael Cooper

a pronunciation tab for the other languages would be wonderful, and add more multiplication tables. instead of running through the 12s, maybe try past that? i would love to see exactly where my rice is going, instead of the vague idea of "to hungry people". thanks for listening.

Tue, 11/09/2010 - 03:01 kittykat845

I think that it would be cool if there was ipod app for freerice and it might get more people to join.

Tue, 11/09/2010 - 01:53 Elliott S

I agree with MMAfighter.

Tue, 11/09/2010 - 01:51 Elliott S

I think they should make new catgories including capitals of the United States.

you guys could totally quadruple traffic if you advertise to tutoring agencies that are in contact with SAT students. there are very few vocabulary engines online with the quality you guys have plus its all for a great cause!

I love this game,, it's really great,,,mostly I played vocabulary and grammar. for people who are learning English it's really helpful tool to improve their English skill. beside we play the game and helping poor people, we also learning.
as for me English is my second language, and I'm still continuing my English study.
well,,it's will be great if there's expansion for all of the subjects, especially English subject.

I love it here and want to thank you for letting me have a way to contribute to helping fight hunger!

Also, I wanted to agree with the person who suggested an iPhone app for FreeRice ... that'd be wonderful if that could be done.

Would love to see a bible trivia category and also music [from the 70's and 80's especially!] I'm not asking for too much, am I? lol

Mon, 11/08/2010 - 14:55 MMAfighter

I would suggest giving users an approximate estimate of how many people we have fed, additionally to add more subjects: maybe Trivia questions about current events or news topics to make it more interesting?

Mon, 11/08/2010 - 09:28 tuzi

it didn't work whether right and wrong.

Mon, 11/08/2010 - 05:21 Maryam Esfandiari

i love this website i have so much fun i think that you should include science and phisics

Mon, 11/08/2010 - 04:24 Lindsey Taylor Sudduth

more subjects, defintly history and music.

Mon, 11/08/2010 - 03:21 jim995

This is a very good site already! But, nothing's perfect, and here' a few ideas for improvement:
1.EXPAND the number of subjects and the subjects currently deployed (except perhapsvoacb...it's hard enough).
2.Though I'm pretty sure it's tricky to do, implement a system that records how many and what questions an individual user gets correct and incorrect to povide more accurate systems, as I tire at doing certain questions (whose answers I memorized) over and over again (for new users, just use the overall list until the user did enough questions).
3.Perhaps create forums overall (all relating to the subect of world hunger, however). This one isn't too big.
The list could go on, but the only ones I really care about are the first two.
Also, can someone explain to me why the "Player Activities" list doesn't update itself (on my comupter, anyway) and how do you make friends?

Mon, 11/08/2010 - 02:04 hunger helper

i earend 9999999999999999999999999999 grains of rice on my other account!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Mon, 11/08/2010 - 01:35 fan_0f_fiction

I'd say it would be better if there were more questions in each subject because after a while you just end up memorizing the answers.

But I am totally addicted to this game! And for once, it's a good thing! It's totally okay to be addicted to giving rice to people who need it.

Sun, 11/07/2010 - 23:02 swirve101

i love this website. i donated over 30,000 grains of rice in just multiplication and i just started on November 3, 2010

Sun, 11/07/2010 - 21:58 smartykat37

I absolutley love this game! My friends have to stop and ask me what half my words mean because of Freerice.com! I think that the only way you could possible improve it is to give the option to stay at one level in the English vocab instead of going up a level when you get one right. Maybe you could also have a music section, where there's a little snippet of a symphony and you have to say if Bach r Mozart or Beethoven wrote it. Another idea is to have two or three lines of a famous poem and have to give the title and author. I liek the idea for a History section, but it's be kind of hard to come up with a bunch of questions for that, as there are so many spins on names and facts after thousands of years. Maybe you'd just have dates? Like, the French Revoltuion occured from ___ to _____. And then you have answer choices of years. Another subject might be Latin roots? Just liek with the English vocab, you'd have the prefix or suffix and have to say what it meant. Just suggestions.....

I'd love to see an iPhone app!

Sun, 11/07/2010 - 12:37 deludedgroove

it seems like it would make sense to have more banner ads at the bottom of the page so more money could be produced with each page refresh

Sun, 11/07/2010 - 12:20 Sarah_and_Aisha

Yep, I agree. History would be great!

Also, pronunciation of the language subjects.

Sun, 11/07/2010 - 05:11 Astrid Allen

Please add math facts. That would make the site perfect!

Sun, 11/07/2010 - 03:43 Nick Curtis

It would be cool if we could have more subjects, and if we could have a map and track where the rice is going to.

Sun, 11/07/2010 - 03:31 Joy777

Please include Biblical Greek and Hebrew

Sun, 11/07/2010 - 00:24 Moua

I love this site!

I would suggest more subjects, and more questions diversity (ex : french lvl 10 repeat itself very often, etc.)

Sat, 11/06/2010 - 23:48 eggman

I would love to see grammar or sentences in other languages e.g. a multiple-choice short answer questions in German or French.

Sat, 11/06/2010 - 22:27 AlliActress

I really love this site! It allows me to make a difference and learn at the same time. I especially love the vocabulary; it will help me with my SATs, I know it. =)
I think an Algebra+ math section, simple life/natural science subjects, and some sort of history would be great additions.

Sat, 11/06/2010 - 19:28 silver_caterpillar

I'd like to make a suggestion. Could you add an animal science category to the list of subjects? Thanks for what you are doing to help others. Keep up the great work.

Sat, 11/06/2010 - 12:14 ClaireThackray

There should be an automated update of your rice total, which updates your rank. Also, more information about how your rice has helped, Like how it takes 400 rice to feed a person it should say somewhere "you have fed ... people today" The list of top players should update automatically so you can see yourself rising up in the ranks :)

Sat, 11/06/2010 - 05:31 EricLee

i love this site :D

Helps me get more prepared for the SATs.

Sat, 11/06/2010 - 03:20 dhfafh89

Great website!I just would like it if it had more websites and faster updates of the grains. Thanks!

Sat, 11/06/2010 - 02:47 walrus23

i love that kids can feed the hungry and learn at the same time! I've always wanted to be able to help but the only way websites said i could was to donate money and i didn't have the money to donate so this is an amazing program for me.

Sat, 11/06/2010 - 01:35 roushdy05

This website is great! So far, my only suggestion is to include more subject.
