Blog entry How to: Make this season merrier

14 December 2011

It's the season of goodwill and giving. Between wrapping presents and opening them, there is nothing that can leave you feeling happier and more gratified than knowing you've made someone else's life better.

To help you get into the spirit, here are some ideas to make a difference this year:

1. Join the "Season of Giving" group and dedicate 20 minutes a day to raising rice. Get your friends and family involved for an all-round festive feeling.
2. Skip the shops and queues. Instead of a tie or DVD, give a unique gift that feeds a child or mother in Ethiopia! Ranging from $5 to $50, the gift you choose will be matched by LG, doubling your impact.

3. Take a short hunger quiz - if you complete it, you feed a child. If you share it, you feed another! It takes a few minutes of your time, you learn about Ethiopia, and you will make a difference.

4. Give a gift to Ethiopia - with the drought in the Horn of Africa, millions of people are in need of your gift. (All donations will be matched by LG Electronics dollar-for-dollar until midnight 31 Dec.)
