Blog entry Freerice ‘Class of the Week’ - Mrs. B’s Etymology Class
This week’s Freerice Class of the Week goes to Mrs. B’s Etymology Class from Kokomo, Indiana. They’ve earned more than 570,000 grains of rice since they started their group in November 2010.
Etymology is the study of words and their origin, and this class is taking it to a whole new level by earning rice for those that need it most.
Congratulations Mrs. B’s Etymology Class and keep up the good work!

We have Freerice competitions in our language arts class soemtimes but I don't think our class could ever earn that many grains of rice! Awesome job!
this is a great thing to have and that is really awsome that teachers will allow there kids to play it in class i think all schools should look up to this class and maybe if all schools that have laptops avalible to the students we can donate more than ever.I also know about another school that did this for the rice bowl challenge. The MLTI teamed up with some food banks.MLTI had the SANFORD JR HIGH SCHOOL studnts 7th & 8th graders playing. The 7th & 8th graders played through their SSR and during any free time the students have so i think that all schools should get the students on and help them sign up!!!!!!! Join the GO MAINE!!! GROUP PLEASE!!!!! : )
